Beware The Mind

The human mind is without doubt an amazing thing. However when it comes to dealing with destiny often we reel wondering "what went wrong" or "why me" when things just seem to steer us into places or situations we don;t want or like, often time after time…

As kids we grow up wondering what we'll do for a career, who we'll marry and in good old "linear thinking" mode plot out the gradual upward ascension of our path on this planet.

Then things come along and WHAM we didnt plan for that…

As a reader ( I don't advise i read whats happening ) the biggest undelrying issue of many of the situations I'm asked to read for seems to be that things didn't 'go to plan'. By that i mean, ( as an example ) we meet someone, fall in love and naturally as humans do, project things forward to the conclusion we would like, often to get thrown off on a curve in our straight-line-plan, when someone does something we didnt expect or destiny planned it another way…Same with jobs and other things we want..

It never ceases to fascinate me that our brains ( I've been battling mine for years ) work in this singular, linear way; and yet all around us the universe works in cycles, in loops in mutliple layers, in opposites and duality. Multiple endiings and new begginings are part of the process

Using relationships as an example, if it is meant we meet person A, and are destined to split with them to spend time with person B, then to later once again connect with person A. To many thats would be a bizarre situation and a crisis…Yet its a perfectly natural process in some karmic cycles.

All around us the cycles of nature, the planets and the universe as a whole don't exhibit straight lines and "logical" linear patterns and yet the human brain seems to work in that way.

Once we understand that it's normal for no buses to come for an hour and then 3 to come at once,( a silly but common analogy ) i believe we begin to see natures cycles cant be avoided. Whats abnormal is assuming a linear schedule is somehow normal or foolproof…

The one other thing i wait for is for someone to call me up and say theyre worried they may be too rich or too happy…funny when you think about it that the brain only works in the negative way like that huh…
